Meet the Artist - Karen Anne Renz
The Bay Arts Center was started as a place to house the continually growing Karen Anne's School of Fine Art. It is a complete art studio where our artist instructs both youth and adults in the basic-to-advanced techniques in the field of fine art.
The studio is also the location for our new "Sip, Dip-n-Stroke" classes, where you can come relax with some friends and a bottle of wine while our artist gives you step-by-step instructions from start to finish recreating a "feature painting". My name is Karen Anne Renz and I am fulfilling my dream and using the gifts that God has blessed me with!
Originally from Louisiana, I am now settled in Bay St. Louis for over 15 years. I have been commissioned to paint paintings, wall murals, company logos, and t-shirt designs. My passion, however, is teaching art, which I've been doing since 1999 under "Karen Anne's School of Fine Art". I teach both youth and adults drawing, painting, and sculpting techniques using a variety of mediums and subjects. I also instruct an annual Summer Art Camp as well as the "Sip, Dip-n-Stroke" classes held twice a month.
Art is my joy, my passion, my ambition, my delight, my fun, and my release, and I’d love to share it with you! To God be the glory!
